16 September 2026 — localisation
- Prices on non-Russian versions of the site now use the local format: decimal separator, position of the € sign and the wording of the total are specific to each of the 20 languages. Previously every locale showed the English form "Total €11.97".
- Technical placeholders left by machine translation were removed from plan cards: "Shortmonth" in Kazakh, "Kortmånad" in Norwegian and its Thai equivalent.
- Removed "email address monitoring" and "malware protection" from the feature list — the service has no such features. They were still shown in Norwegian, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Turkmen.
- The device limit is now exact in every locale: up to 3 at the same time, instead of the vague "multiple devices" and the incorrect "5 devices".
- Translated into every language: the blog interface, the support dialog and the "Servers worldwide" block with its labels.
16 September 2026 — site security
- Theme file backups are no longer reachable by direct link. They could previously be fetched with a plain GET and read as source: their extension differed from .php, so the server returned them as text. The copies were moved outside the public directory and the web server now answers 404 for such paths.
16 September 2026 — affiliate programme
- Launched the Partners page with reward terms, an income calculator and an FAQ. Added to the menu, the burger and the footer.
15 September 2026 — TV and mobile layout
- Added a shared "VPN for TV" section containing the Android TV and Apple TV pages.
- Mobile layout: tighter spacing between homepage sections, narrower plan cards, article tables no longer cut off on the right, and the blog search field now sits next to the filters.
10 September 2026 — reviews
- The reviews page now shows 12 entries per page instead of 20.
What goes into this log
App release notes are added as versions ship. When an entry mentions an improved metric, that metric is backed by a measurement — otherwise the wording stays descriptive.
