Checklist: v2rayN won't connect

  1. Is the internet alive without the VPN? If not, don't touch v2ray.
  2. Update v2rayN and the core from the same page where you got the client.
  3. Turn off Happ, Hiddify, WireGuard, and the «antivirus VPN». Two tunnels at once almost always produce «not working».
  4. Check the system time.
  5. Update the subscription. An expired key looks like a dead client.
  6. Change the server. A single inbound on the panel may be down.
  7. Mode: System proxy and a browser restart. Or TUN if you need all traffic, not just the browser.
