There is no dedicated server in Iraq yet. When it appears, a new entry will show up in the list inside the app — you do not need to reinstall anything. You can buy a VPN in advance on the pricing page.
VPN server in Iraq — neighboring countries for now
The nearest locations that already work: UAE, Turkey and Germany. The ping will be higher than with a local IP, but websites, messengers and work services still open.
How to download the VPN and connect
Install the app on your computer or phone, or the browser extension, sign in to your account and select UAE. The first 8 hours are free, no card needed. Once a server in Iraq appears, it will be in the same list of countries.
Why you need a Iraq IP
A Iraq IP is needed by sites and services that check the country you connect from: banks, government services, local stores, region-specific content. Until there is a local address, use a neighboring country. A separate plan for Iraq is not required.
One subscription for all devices
One subscription covers Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and the Chrome, Firefox and Edge extension. When a server in Iraq opens, it is available on all of these clients at once.
VPN for Iraq websites and services
While there is no local server, the nearest country from the list above is enough for Iraq websites. For Discord, games and system traffic the desktop app is better; for browser tabs, the extension.
When a VPN in Iraq will appear
The country is on the network expansion roadmap. We are not setting an exact date. This page will stay: as soon as the server goes live, there will be up-to-date text here and a new country in the app.
