Uganda can host a commercial node: it has large cities, networks, and electricity. It is simply not on our map yet.
A VPN server in Uganda is coming soon
There is no dedicated server in Uganda yet. When it appears, a new item will show up in the client's list — no reinstall needed. You can buy VPN in advance on the pricing page.
VPN server in Uganda — neighboring countries for now
The nearest locations that already work: UAE, France and Germany. The ping will be higher than with a local IP, but websites, messengers, and work services open fine.
How to download VPN and connect
Install the app on your computer or phone or the browser extension, sign in to your account, and select UAE. The first 8 hours are free, no card required. Once the server in Uganda appears, it will be in the same list of countries.
Why you need an Uganda IP
An Uganda IP is needed by sites and services that look at the country you connect from: banks, government services, local stores, region-specific content. Until there is a local address — use a neighboring country. No separate plan for Uganda is required.
One subscription for all devices
One subscription covers Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, and the Chrome, Firefox, and Edge extension. When the server in Uganda goes live, it is available on all these clients at once.
VPN for Uganda websites and services
While there is no local server, the nearest country from the list above is enough for Uganda websites. For Discord, games, and system traffic, the desktop app is better; for browser tabs — the extension.
When VPN in Uganda will appear
The country is on our network expansion plan. We are not setting an exact date. This page will remain: as soon as the server starts working, there will be up-to-date text here, and a new country in the app.
